The DeWitt Elementary PTA is extremely grateful for our community volunteers. Our events, programs, and services couldn't happen without you!

Whether you enjoy planning events, reaching out to community members for participation, engaging with parents, or helping us execute our events, there's an opportunity for everyone who wants to serve.

If you only have 2 hours to spare or want to chair a committee, we can help find the right fit for you. Take a look below at some of the volunteer opportunities that we have throughout the year.

Program/Event	Description
Denim and Diamonds	Our biggest fundraiser of the year! We need help with coordinating teacher/coach baskets, reaching out to local businesses for donations, setting up the event, working at the event, clean up and more.
Monster Mash	Help with planning the event, setup and decorate, help with registration, photos and more.
STEM Event	Plan a STEM night for elementary aged students and coordinate with community members to have tables/presentations.
Winter Fun Day	Plan a fun day of sledding and cocoa for the kids on a half day in the winter.
Staff Appreciation Week	Plan and facilitate celebration of staff and teachers, including meals and themed treats during Staff Appreciation Week.
Conference Cuisine	Coordinates meals for teachers on days that there are Parent/Teacher Conferences. No cooking necessary - just ordering, delivering, light décor and set up.
Building Representative	Get to know building leaders and teachers. Volunteer at school events and help coordinate Conference Cuisine and Staff Appreciation Week.
Photography	Attend events and take photos of approved children for social media and website.
