Parents and educators enriching the lives of
children at DeWitt Elementary PTA, P.O. Box 695, DeWitt, Michigan 48820
President’s Message I am overwhelmed at the support everyone has given the PTA thus far. I’d like to thank our parents for helping to make the DeWitt PTA the best we can be. We are off to a roaring start with many more exciting events to come. I wanted to take a little time to remind everyone that we are here solely for our children. We want to help create and support successful schools so that our children will learn to become successful adults. We are all on the same team and any united effort in helping the teachers, support staff, or principals makes DeWitt schools all that better. If you have not yet joined, please do so. This is a great opportunity to show your students you care. From the Vice President Thank you to all the families who participated to make Art Night a HUGE success! The PTA is pleased to announce the start of collecting Michigan Apple Proof of Purchases. Last year the Michigan Apple Committee gave two $3,000, two $2,000 and two $1,000 prize amounts to schools collecting these labels. For each proof of purchase collected we are entered into the drawing for these prizes. All we are asking parents to do is save the Michigan Apple proof of purchase off your bags and send them to school. We will do all the rest. The drawing isn’t till April, so there’s lots of time to collect those labels! |
