CARNIVAL NEWSLETTER
There are many reasons you won’t want to miss this year’s
PTA Carnival! Here are a few updates:
Raffle
Look for raffle tickets to be sent home in the next few
weeks. The prizes include a $500 gift card to Gilbert's Hardware, Subway for
a year, a golf get-away to Garland, spa party for four at Pure Day Spa and a
Great Wolf Lodge Family Get-Away.
Silent
Auction
Basket coordinators are working hard to put together
fantastic baskets again this year! Please support your classroom by
contributing to your classroom basket. A preview flier will be sent home
the week before the carnival so you can get a glimpse of what is available.
Be on the lookout for some familiar
faces in the
auction this year! Some teachers from your classrooms will be auctioning off
their time. You can bid on things like “breakfast/lunch with your teacher”,
“ a bedtime story read by your teacher” and many others!
Kitchen &
Concessions
Once again we will be offering a full range of delicious
and now more nutritious lunch items as well as old favorites. Be sure to
save room for the treats we offer through concessions! NO carnival cash will
be necessary this year.
Bake Sale
We need donated homemade baked goods including:
Cakes for the Cake-Walk, Cookies for the
lunch meals, Breads, Pies, Cookies, Brownies, Candies, Rolls, Krispie
treats, Muffins (whatever your specialty) to SELL !!!
So Let’s get bakin’ and make our Carnival Bake Sale the
best success ever.
Drop-Off for items Friday March 13th
4:00-6:00 pm!!! You can also buy your raffle tickets and game
tickets while you are there.
Volunteers
WE NEED YOU!!! The carnival requires about 180 parent and
teacher volunteers. There will be 4 shifts to sign-up for. Please consider
donating a bit of your time to help us out! This year, for every shift you
sign up for, your name will be entered in a drawing for a fabulous prize!
